Our Community Defibrillator is Installed

We are pleased to announce a significant new addition to the Bluestone Brewing site. You may have recently noticed a new piece of equipment during your visits, and we can confirm that our community defibrillator was officially installed and fully operational in February.

This vital piece of medical equipment is now officially registered on the national defibrillator network, The Circuit. This registration connects the device directly to the Welsh Ambulance Service. In the event of a suspected cardiac emergency, 999 call handlers will be able to direct bystanders to our device immediately, ensuring the quickest possible access to help.

The successful installation of the defibrillator is thanks to the generosity and community spirit of everyone involved. We successfully raised enough funds for this equipment during last year's choir competition (as well as plenty more for the Wales Air Ambulance). It was a great event that brought many people together for a brilliant cause. Thank you to our community, every single person who participated, and everyone who donated. 

While we sincerely hope that this defibrillator will never be needed, its presence offers peace of mind. The device is housed in an external, easily accessible cabinet, ensuring it is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in an emergency. It serves not only our staff and visitors to the brewery but also the surrounding local community.
