Our Venues
Coming to visit?
We have a taproom, shop and events venue on-site at the Brewery as well as two Craft Beer & Pizza Restaurants. You’ll find out all you need to know about visiting one of our venues as you make your way down this page, we look forward to seeing you soon!
The Brewery Taproom & Shop
You’ll find us just a few miles outside of Newport, at the end of the Gwaun Valley. We’re based on the working family farm, Tyriet, at the foot of Carningli.
Our production areas are off-limits to the public but you can sit and enjoy a pint direct from the Brewhouse in our taproom, so pop in and enjoy a drink or take some beers away with you. We have five keg lines, shelves and a fridge full of takeaway beer and plenty of cider, wine & soft drinks too!
Everybody is always welcome. We do allow your well-behaved furry friends and children at the brewery. All we ask is that you remember that the Brewery is on a working farm. So, please ensure that your children are supervised at all times and make sure that your dogs are on short leads.
We are currently open Thursday 12pm – 6pm, Friday 12pm – 7pm and Saturday 11am – 6pm. Please keep an eye on our social media in case we have to make any last minute changes to our opening hours.
Events at The Brewery
We are more than just your average Brewery, we like to throw a few parties too! Throughout the year we put on several events for you to come and enjoy. Our events are all held on site, in the warmer months we open up our yard area and can host events of up to 450 people.
During the colder, winter months we enjoy putting on some smaller gigs in our taproom, acoustic and a lot more intimate. Local community group, Carningli Nights Out, use our space and have some fantastic acts from all over the UK – it’s worth checking out what they have lined up here.
Grain
As well as the Brewery, we also have two restaurants for you to enjoy!
Grain is a collaboration between Bluestone Brewing Co and The Canteen, Newport. We have been friends with Ben from The Canteen for years and always used to dream of opening a place together. From those early discussions, we soon realised that our passions for great taste, sustainable food, and local produce intertwined – an opportunity came up in early 2020, and Grain was born. We opened our St Davids site in 2020, just as hospitality reopened after the Covid-19 pandemic – it was the busiest Summer Pembrokeshire has ever seen! We then set our sights on expansion and opened our Carmarthen site in December 2023.
Both venues have plenty of fresh keg lines, with an ever changing selection of Bluestone Brewing Co beers as well as guest beers and a wide selection of delicious Pizza!
